It is great to hear that there are other people like me who are taking control of their own health rather than just taking medication . I am sure my condition would be much worse if I didn’t. And I don’t need to be a Scientologist to know it can be done.
I have found it very frustrating trying to convince a fellow MS sufferer that diet and exercise is the way to go, especially seeing as I am living proof.

I have not been cured yet but I have been looking for any information that can help me to stablize and or overcome my medical situation.
I believe I have stumbled onto a very successful remedy which so far has made a difference to me personally and only within 3 or 4 days.
In this time frame I have steadied my blood sugar reading and it has been constantly below 8 BSL and usually around 6 which for me is excellent as previous to this I have been around 10 BSL
I have also lost 4kg or nearly 5lbs I am presently overweight by around 60lbs.
What I have started to do is watch and care about the types of food I eat. Through not mixing or try not to mix starch foods or sugars with protiens that is because of the way our bodies use various acids and alkilines and enzimes and processes to break down the foods we eat.
My information comes from a book written by Kathryn Marsden "Food Combining diet" lose weight the Hay Way, 1993. published by Thorsons.
This book is excellent with good information, it’s evolution is due to the fact that Kathryn’s husband Ralph was also diabetic and then had his stomach removed as a result of a cancer infection as a consequence Kathryn searched for foods Ralph could eat and get norishment from what she found was Dr Hay’s information about food combinations and Kathryn learned how to make foods for her husband which allowed him to survive without his stomach.
While on this amazing journey she also found that the benifits of eating correctly (as our natural for fathers did as "hunters and gatherers’) our bodies went into an automatic self repair mode and each person she writes about has a similar experience of becoming more healthy as their individual metabolism’s stablize for their natural bodies function and self repair is evident.
It is excellent information and I have not even scratched the surface so for me it’s early days but I can feel the difference already, it’s not a diet it’s just a change of how you mix your food intake at meals or when eating. There’s a comprehensive food list and a four weeks food menu with different compatible food groups each meal and snacks etc,
If you think about it like a car (runs on petrol) but if you mix petrol with oil, and other volatile liquids (not in big amounts) it will still run but after a lot of mixes it will get all clogged up so to our bodies become clogged up with toxins etc My explanation here leaves alot out and I dont think I do the book justice best if you can get hold of it and have a read and try some out then see what you think, but for me, I’m into it it makes sence and works and is not restrictive just different and natural
